I haven't been posting here for awhile, but this doesn't mean I am no longer as obsessed with makeup or skincare etc. hehe........ here in uk, I am still eagerly waiting for the MAC HELLO KITTY launch, which will be in march I hear according to the mac uk website :D. ...just a few more days to go...however, I was browsing through blogs and it seem some other folks from uk have been able to pre-order H.K stuff online or sthing *sigh* ah wel..shall wait till next week! ^^
and lately I've just be so busy with deadlines on my lab reports and assignments, socialising, going out, gettin tips n all......so I haven't really been bothered to blog much...srry!! >.<.... These days my weekends seem to include staying in watching a movie and finishing what is left of my lab reports or just loitering around..brrrrrrrr.... Finally, I ordered my bb cream from beautyeshop.co.uk (ty her coz I hadn't a clue where to get them and thankfully it's got lots of other asian stuff here!! ^^ aside sasa) and ebay today..hehe after what has been awhile, my luv luv for wanting to get my hands on BB cream was still there ! :P First from beautyeshop.co.uk ordered, the infamous l'egere whitening bb cream one and also the brtc one...and then again, I went crazy and was googling all over for other bb cream stuff. I ended up in some ebay store and got my hands on the Dr. Jart Bb cream (black one). I'll have to wait a few days I reckon for the uk order and max 2 weeks maybe for the Dr.Jart one coz it's being sent from s.korea. .... so shall see how they work out for me...... >.<....... Also found a few other sites great for uk users like myself. hehe...I don't really know how I ended up in that forum but thanks to that....I'll probably be able to buy some good quality brushes from! :D The forum I came across was : Makeup Advice Forum and then here.
hehe..also this other site where I am thinking of getting some brushes from. It sort of reminds me of the coastal scents site, but this place says they've been supplying makeup brushes for like 20 yrs or so..It's cheap and seems GREAT!.. and a woman on the forum was also saying how they manufacture brushes for MAC and BB! ..... :D
Another one: http://www.justbeautydirect.co.uk I'm getting my smashbox stuff from here! *kachingg* :P what is great about this site is...I can buy some samples first b4 using them ^^
Also came across a rather disturbing video of rabbits being slaughtered for fur...etc...:'( ..it was through the peta.org site and some other gurl's blog. HELL no am I getting any girgio armani stuff *beeeeeeeeeep*
so long for now xx
Hi Kiki,
ReplyDeleteAt least all the snow has melted off in the UK and it's been fairly decent the last couple of weeks!
Glad to see you ordered from beautyeshop! I bought the exact same BB creams from them. I think that the L'egere is btter for oiler skin, and the BTRC is a bit richer, e.g. for winter.
I know where you go to Uni...I know where that building is! It's a really nice area.
Good luck with the lab reports!
Hey! Just wanted to drop in and say hello! I stumbled on to your profile and when I read it I was like, "Woah! she just described me!" I had to follow. lol. have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHey thanks for subbing. And I just wanted to mention that crown brushes is a supplier for Coastal Scents. That's why it seems so familiar with Coastal Scents. I'm not dissing Coastal Scents or anything, but Coastal Scents orders from other manufacturers. . . so pretty much, you can find CS palettes at cheaper prices.
ReplyDeleteactually I blogged about it here. Hope it helps.
